Don't Take Our Word For It

Programming will be the fastest growing occupation throughout the next decade. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are 1.4 million programming jobs to fill, and two thirds of these jobs are outside of the typical Silicon Valley technology sector. This includes high level jobs in industries such as manufacturing, automobiles, medicine, agriculture, finance, and more. By the time current students are a part of the workforce, software engineering will be in peak demand.

Programing Based Jobs Are Growing the Fastest

All technical and computer-related jobs are growing significantly faster than the market as a whole, increasing from the current need by up to 31%. Parents and students demand more educational options to ensure their children are prepared for the workforce they will be entering as adults.

To prepare humanity for the next 100 years, we need more of our children to learn computer programming skills, regardless of their future profession. Along with reading and writing, the ability to program is going to define what an educated person is.

How we are changing the world?

Here at Launch Code After School, our classes emphasize applicable computer engineering skills that prepare children to become creators, and not just consumers of technology. Current offerings do not teach the full range of skills and knowledge, simply a gamified version of these skills. We offer a comprehensive program that prepares and engages students in the world of technology.

Even if kids don’t pursue a STEM career, they’ll learn critical skills such as creative problem solving, logical thinking, team work, and project design that will give them a leg up in school and their future career.
